How much wood could a Woodchuck chop .. if it's a Woodlark

We've just been over to my parents' house to drop off a few things for them and, upon arriving back home, saw this fellow in our front garden.

Having got indoors, I was sitting on the bed changing my shoes and there he was in the back garden, sitting on the fence, having a conversation with our resident Robin - who wasn't terribly impressed at his being there.

It turns out, he's a Woodlark!  Similar in many ways to a Skylark - but one that lives in woodland.  They're apparently a tad smaller, too.

Well, I've never seen one of those in the garden before.  I think he was angling to have a feed at the bird feeders in the tree, if only that naughty Robin would let him.  Maybe he'll be back once the Robin has gone!

He's gorgeous and that's a lovely photo! I've seen those around and wondered what they are. Thanks!
